The Carrick Gin

The Carrick Gin is a celebration of place, heritage, and the quiet magic found in the gardens of Carrick Hill.  

This small-batch South Australian gin captures the essence of one of the state’s most iconic estates.
Inspired by the legacy of Ursula Hayward, the property’s original owner and a passionate rose grower with an eye for both beauty and scent, this release pays tribute to the botanicals grown on the land she loved.

At its heart are two standout ingredients, both lovingly cultivated on the Carrick Hill grounds. Delicate heritage roses bring soft, perfumed floral notes that define this rose pink gin, while the vibrant estate grown cumquats deliver sweet citrus and a subtle tartness, giving the spirit its distinctive character as a truly unique cumquat gin. Together, these botanicals create a flavour profile that is fragrant, elegant, and unmistakably tied to its Adelaide Hills origin.

This release also honours Ursula’s well-known love for a classic gin and tonic. It’s easy to imagine her strolling through the gardens, secateurs in one hand and a G&T in the other, admiring the roses she selected with such care. The Carrick Gin captures that spirit, the joy of simple pleasures, the beauty of a moment, and the charm of a garden in full bloom.

Crafted in small batches at Little Juniper's certified organic distillery, The Carrick Gin is more than a premium craft gin. It is a gentle tribute to Carrick Hill, a nod to tradition, and a sensory stroll through one of South Australia’s most enchanting properties.

Profits go to the restoration and upkeep of Carrick Hill gardens.
